Full post:

Not everyone has hours to spend in the garden and you don’t need to. At Nasali Hive, we believe nature should fit into real life. That means plants that look good, clean the air, and forgive you when you forget to water them.

Here are low-maintenance plants you can grow with confidence.

1. Snake Plant (Mother-in-Law’s Tongue)

Almost impossible to kill. It handles low light, irregular watering, and indoor spaces well. Water sparingly and let the soil dry between drinks.

2. Aloe Vera

Useful and beautiful. Aloe loves sun, needs little water, and gives you a natural gel for minor skin soothes. Great near a bright window or on a balcony.

3. Pothos

A trailing favourite for shelves and hanging pots. It grows in medium light and tells you when it’s thirsty soft leaves mean water is due.

4. ZZ Plant

Glossy, sculptural, and very forgiving. Ideal for offices and rooms with less natural light. Water lightly every couple of weeks.

5. Succulents

Jade, echeveria, and similar succulents store water in their leaves. Give them sunlight, well-draining soil, and infrequent watering.

6. Spider Plant

Hardy, air-friendly, and great for beginners. It produces baby plants you can share with friends very Nasali.

7. Lavender or Rosemary (in pots)

If you want scent and use, start with rosemary. It likes sun, dislikes soggy soil, and doubles as a kitchen herb.

Quick care rules

Less water is better than too much for most hardy plants

Use pots with drainage holes

Give them the right light, not constant attention

Wipe dust off leaves so they can breathe

Nasali tip

Start with 2–3 plants, not ten. Learn their rhythm. A small thriving corner is better than a crowded balcony of stressed plants.
